It focuses on how venues such as clubs, hotels, and gaming venues collect and verify Know Your Customer (KYC) information for companies and trustees when providing designated services under Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) legislation.
The course supports frontline staff, supervisors, managers, compliance officers, business owners, and board members in meeting AUSTRAC requirements while helping protect gaming venues, their patrons, and the wider community from being exploited for criminal activity.

Under Australia’s AML/CTF framework regulated by AUSTRAC, reporting entities must apply appropriate customer identification procedures before providing designated services.
