Welcome JERRY Professor, Evan Stroeve

We are excited to announce that Evan Stroeve has joined our team at JERRY as a new professor!

Evan Stroeve is a globally recognised and award-winning hospitality professional with over a decade of experience in the food and beverage industry. He began his journey by working at several prestigious bars in Sydney, including Shady Pines, Baxter's Inn, and Hubert's. Evan eventually became the General Manager of Bulletin Place, one of Australia's most acclaimed cocktail bars, and helped open Re, as General Manager, which aims to operate as the world's first zero waste venue.

At Bulletin Place, Evan's expertise in local produce and sustainable usage of foraged ingredients helped him create a unique and engaging experience for guests. Under Evan's leadership, Bulletin Place gained recognition as one of the best cocktail bars in Australia and internationally. The bar has won numerous awards over the years, including Best Cocktail Bar at the Australian Bartender Magazine Awards, and it has been named one of the World's 50 Best Bars by Drinks International magazine.

Evan's accomplishments in the industry are impressive, including winning the Australian Cocktail Bar of the Year award four times, Australian Bar Manager of the Year in 2019, Sydney Bartender of the Year in 2018, and Sydney Cocktail Bar of the Year in 2018. His passion for hospitality and dedication to excellence have made him a respected figure in the industry, and his innovative approach to sourcing and utilising local ingredients has earned him a reputation as a pioneer in the field.

Recently, Evan has joined JERRY as a Professor. JERRY, a brand under Allara Global, is an industry leading bar and beverage training platform. JERRY Professors complement the online training courses and resources by giving learners the opportunity to interact with internationally acclaimed industry experts in person.

As a Professor at JERRY, Evan comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience to offer specialised guidance and training to beverage hospitality teams. Evan's remarkable leadership abilities and innovative methods are set to raise the bar in training standards within the industry and support hospitality teams in reaching their maximum capabilities.
