Marco Nunes has established himself as a prominent figure in the bar industry. A native Parisian, Marco’s passion for bartending began on the banks of the Champs Elysées in Paris, where he first discovered his flair for creating cocktails. He then honed his skills in London, where he worked with some of the city's finest bartenders. Now based in Australia, Marco has an impressive list of achievements to his name. He has won many national and international awards throughout his career, including being the first Australian bartender to win the Angostura International Mixology competition in Trinidad & Tobago. Aside from his success in competitions, Marco is also a successful entrepreneur. He was the owner of Canvas Bar, which won the Australian Bar Awards for Best New Bar and Cocktail List of the Year, and Papa Jack's, which won the Australian Bar Awards for Best Bar in Queensland. In addition to his work in the industry, Marco has a passion for sharing his knowledge and expertise with others. He has trained over 10,000 bartenders and industry professionals both nationally and internationally. He is also the leader for the Diageo Townhall online Webinar training program, providing virtual training to bartenders around the globe, and regularly consults to create and review industry training programs. Recently, Marco has joined JERRY as the Global Lead, showcasing his continued commitment to innovation and leadership within the bar industry. JERRY, a brand under Allara Global, is an industry-leading bar and beverage training platform that provides bartenders with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed. With his wealth of experience and passion for sharing knowledge, Marco is sure to make a significant impact in his new role and continue to inspire and educate bartenders around the world.
