About the program

Program purpose and scope

The Allara Global Sexual Harassment, Discrimination, and Disability Awareness Certificate Program provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to recognise, prevent, and appropriately respond to workplace harassment, discrimination, and disability-related concerns. The program addresses workplace conduct and protections established under applicable federal, state, and local laws and includes legal awareness; recognition of prohibited workplace conduct; harassment and discrimination prevention; disability awareness; workplace reporting procedures; prevention and response strategies; and employer and employee responsibilities that support respectful and inclusive workplace practices.

Target audience

This program is intended for employees and supervisors who want to help create and maintain respectful, inclusive workplaces. The program may be particularly useful for individuals working in hospitality, food service, hotels, customer-service environments, retail or service operations, and other workplaces in which employees and supervisors interact with coworkers, customers, guests, or members of the public.

Completing the program

Program requirements

Participants must complete all required learning modules, complete required scenario-based learning activities, and achieve a minimum passing score of 70% on the summative assessment. Successful completion of all program requirements is required to earn the certificate.

Program duration and access period

Participants have 30 days after enrolment to complete the program. The course is self-paced and typically takes approximately two hours to complete. All required learning activities and the final assessment must be completed within the applicable access period.

Assessment instructions

The final assessment consists of multiple-choice questions. Participants must select the best answer for each question. The assessment must be completed in one sitting and cannot be paused once it has started. A minimum score of 70% is required to successfully complete the program and earn the certificate.

Certificate issuance and validity

Certificates are issued to participants who successfully complete all program requirements. The certificate demonstrates successful completion of the Allara Global Sexual Harassment, Discrimination, and Disability Awareness Certificate Program at the time of assessment. Certificate validity and retraining requirements may vary based on applicable federal, state, local, employer, or organisational requirements. Participants and employers should verify whether recurring or jurisdiction-specific training requirements apply.

Instructional personnel

Course materials are developed and maintained by the Allara Global instructional design team and reviewed by qualified subject matter experts with demonstrated experience in employment law, workplace harassment and discrimination requirements, disability awareness, workplace compliance, hospitality operations, and adult learning and instructional design.

Technology requirements

Participants must have access to a computer or mobile device with internet connectivity and basic digital literacy skills necessary to complete online coursework, scenario-based learning activities, and assessments.

Program policies and disclosures

Applicable program fees, enrolment-access timelines, cancellation provisions, and refund eligibility are communicated to prospective participants prior to enrolment. Program fees, cancellations, refunds, and related enrolment matters are administered in accordance with Allara Global Policies and Procedures.

Personal information and assessment results are treated as confidential. Participant information may only be disclosed with learner authorisation, when required by law, for accreditation-related activities, or for legitimate certificate-verification purposes.

Allara Global handles learner information in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection requirements, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) where applicable.

Complaints, appeals and access to records Participants may request access to applicable program records, submit a complaint concerning the certificate program, or appeal a certificate-related decision. The Allara Global Sexual Harassment, Discrimination, and Disability Awareness Certificate Program does not currently provide academic or continuing education credit through an external credit-approving organisation.

This certificate program does not receive commercial sponsorship or external financial support that influences instructional content, assessment development, program administration, or certificate-issuance decisions.

Certificates issued by Allara Global may be used solely to demonstrate successful completion of the applicable certificate program during the stated validity period.
