Course information

The behaviours and practices which constitute modern slavery are serious human rights violations.

Modern slavery can be found in every corner of our globalised world. The term modern slavery describes situations where coercion, threats or deception are used to exploit victims and undermine their freedom.

Many Australian businesses may be unaware of the risk that they have slavery in their business or supply chains. The Global Slavery Index 2023 (GSI) estimates there are 41,000 people living in conditions of modern slavery in Australia, a prevalence of 1.6 victims of modern slavery for every thousand people in the country.

Allara Global’s Modern Slavery Awareness course will help you raise awareness and educate your employees on how to identify and report modern slavery in and around the workplace.
